Hey Reader At this point of the year, time seems to speed up 😝 While it feels like I was just finishing my mid-year journal setup, Halloween is right around the corner. I'm getting antsy about planning for Christmas and New Year, but also super tempted to look ahead to 2026. The mindset I often fall into around this time is that any of those goals I wanted to work on this year, but haven't quite gotten around to, would make for great new year goals 👀 Why not just let the -ber months slide and pick things up in the new year... But we still have time! Sure, 2026 isn't all that far away, but we can still make real progress on our goals before the year is out. I do love the "fresh start" of a new year, but imagine how much better it could feel. Essentially, the question we want to ask ourselves is: What progress do I want to be celebrating on December 31st? I want us to ring in the new year, looking back at the past three months and feeling so proud of the steps we’ve already taken. Whether it’s something you’ve been putting off all year (or for years) you can still make meaningful progress now, and we're going to do it together 😈 The idea - The "Change Your Life" challengeFrom the start of October to the end of December, we're running Round 2 of the Change Your Life challenge (also known as the 3 Months to Change Your Life challenge). If you'd rather watch, then read, we have an introductory video for the challenge linked below 👌 In our first round of the challenge, people celebrated wins like:
Not only this, but people also worked on the small stuff (that has big pay-offs in the long run). Whatever you want to work on, we'd love to have you with us. Things are always better with friends! How to get involvedOur challenge just requires you to follow three steps:
The free community group we have for the challenge is a place where you can share your goals, plans, and progress. Most importantly though, we are way more likely to reach our goals with accountability. The other challenge members over there are your accountability buddies, and we're excited to do this with you 💪
I’ll also be sharing my own journey through weekly vlogs on the YouTube channel, so make sure you’re subscribed if you’d like some extra motivation along the way. The challenge officially kicks off on October 1st (or September 29th if you like a Monday start like me). Let’s end 2025 feeling proud of ourselves and ready for 2026. Will you be joining us? Let's take actionIf you want to get involved, I've got a lil checklist for you 😈
That's it! To boost your progress potential though, jump over into the challenge community space too. I'm super excited to get started, and I know together we can make a lot of progress before the year is up 😊 Let's do this 🥳 Until next time! - Jess Sick of setting goals that don't get achieved? Hey Reader It's time to come clean. I'm a serial project-starter. While that in itself isn't a problem, the real issue is that previously I've been a serial project non-finisher 😂 Starting something new is exciting! I love getting into new projects and planning out how I'll take action. Lots of possibilities, lots of potential. Even those first action steps can feel good; getting things done and making progress feels satisfying. Finishing a project though, that feels like work and commitment...
Hey Reader Tomorrow's my birthday 🥳 Bring on 34 💪 To celebrate, I'm throwing myself a "Thirty-Four-hoa-hoa-hoa-hoa" party, or essentially an "Eat the film" day for the Twilight movies, featuring themed snacks and drinks. But this newsletter isn't really about that (even though I'm super excited for it 😝) Instead, I wanted to use the occasion as a fun excuse to share 34 of my favourite things in honour of turning 34. Don’t worry, this isn’t just going to be a self-indulgent list of random...
Hey Reader Sometimes the simplest advice can be the most impactful. Back at the start of our newslettering journey together, I gave you 5 of my favourite tiny tips. (If you're new to the newsletter team, you might not have gotten that one yet. Don't worry, it's coming!) In that email, I also asked if you had a tiny tip you thought could help other members of the newsletter team. As we move into Quarter 4, I thought some of these tips were timely reminders for how we can approach what is often...
